Session 001

The first hour. Four presenters, a full room, and every demo pointed at one question: is this actually useful to me? Recorded in full; the chapters below jump the player to each demo.

Chapters

  1. Doors open

Zoom's recording notice, the room filling up, and the host getting roasted for overbuilding his own registration flow. The lesson of the first ten minutes: don't overbuild the front door.

  2. The AI Open House Format Colton Mulligan

One to two minutes running the thing, three to four on how it is built, then questions. A visible clock. Everyone gets a turn.

  3. Sales Shark Taylor Thomas

A dashboard that scores about 8,000 industry verticals against a custom rubric, then automated nightly discovery of the events, podcasts, and sponsorships worth chasing. Why the pipeline moved off Claude for the heavy stages, and why the rubric was the hard part.

  4. The Command Center Marion Long

Every meeting captured, indexed, sanitized of protected health information, and turned into a live dashboard with action items. Daily prep went from one to two hours to about ten minutes. Plaud, Zapier, Dropbox, Claude, cron.

  5. BOSS, Sarabeth, and the Carousel Generator Jay Graves

Blueprint OS replaced the spreadsheet handoffs in a local-media company. Sarabeth interviews staff about problems and files the GitHub issues. The Instagram carousel generator was the win that made the team say "holy shit, this works."

  6. State-Policy Radar and the Skill Recorder Marty Reed

A platform that crawls state policy by state on a cron, ingests RFPs and SharePoint, and answers through a RAG API and an ElevenLabs voice agent. Then a Loom-style recorder that turns a narrated task into a downloadable Claude skill. "So it's video vibe code?"

  7. Every Inbox, One Claude Colton Mulligan

The multi-account Gmail thread: OAuth tokens, gcloud getting snippy, and the script Colton promised to share. He did; it is on his guest page.

  8. Tokens, Headless Agents, and the House-Guest Idea The open floor

Everyone is burning tokens. Grok Build for the heavy lifting, mini apps instead of agents, and the honest warning that always-on headless agents take real work to keep alive. Then the idea that became this directory: a public repo where every guest has a page they edit themselves.

What got shared

Every presenter's page carries their stack card and the piece they left behind. Where a guest has not signed off on the artifact yet, the page says "Pending approval of past house guest" instead of guessing.
